About the Kinect Sensor

If you have an Xbox Slim, Kinect will plug into a single port on your console, the Kinect port. Owners of previous consoles without a dedicated Kinect port will need to use a USB port and a separate AC adaptor (supplied). The Kinect sensor comes bundled with a free game, Kinect Adventures. This game from Microsoft will showcase just what's possible with the new controller.

Xbox Kinect Bundles

Microsoft have bundled Kinect with their Xbox Arcade replacement, the Xbox Slim 4GB. The new console comes with 4GB of built-in solid state memory and the Kinect Sensor. There is also a 250GB Kinect bundle for around £50 more.

The main difference between the 4GB and 250GB console, besides the storage is that the 4GB model has a matt finish, whereas the more expensive 250GB model has a gloss finish with chrome accents.
